The aim of bachelor thesis is analysis of the conomic indicators in internet agency Cognito.CZ s.r.o. in Brno. Result of financial analysis is a set of values for each year. For each year are applied statistical methods. Financial analysis revers the strengths and weaknesses of the business and statistical methods determine the prediction of individual economic indicators for the following year. Bachelor thesis contains proposals to improve the problems and situation.

This diploma thesis focuses on the general characteristic of the technical analysis and its use in deciding to invest in the stock market. Thesis includes theoretical data, which deal with problems concerning an investment in the capital market. In the practical part are some indicators of technical analysis applied to the selected shares, by means of them is formed investing strategy for the beginning investor. Furthermore, in practical part is described the design of application for technical analysis.

This thesis deals with evaluating the economic situation of the company FEI Czech Republic, s.r.o.. The aim of this thesis is to formulate recommendations, which are based on a future development predictions of the selected economic indicators. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part contains description of selected economic indicators and statistical methods used in this paper. It serves as the basis and source of information for the practical part. The practical part contains constructions of regression models and recommendations based on them. These regression models also serve as a data source for determining the strengths and weaknesses of the company. All recommendations are contained in the final part of the thesis.

Evaluation of a Company's Financial Situation in MS Excel and Proposals For its Improvement

The bachelor thesis is focused on the financial situation assessment of a chosen company which is based on methods of financial analysis. The software Visual Basic for Application in the MS Excel environment is being used for creation of the algorithm itself. It is used for calculation of specific financial indicators necessary for evaluation of the company’s financial health. The results form a basis for defining failures and threats of the company´s business activities. Subsequently appropriate actions for eliminating the problems are being suggested. These should also facilitate a complex improvement of the company´s financial status.
